Firstly, what exactly is a tektite? We hear you ask…
A tektite is a stone found in exotic areas of the Earth. They were formed by the collision of asteroids and comets crashing on Earth many many years ago!
They are terrestrial rock that have been melted and flung into the atmosphere by the force of an asteroid or comet! This is the formation of a tektite, however… there are many different types of tektites as this is dependent on what part of the Earth the asteroids hit during the creation of these fascinating rocks!

The Origins:
Colombianite is a sacred stone of Colombian Indians which relates back to tribal beginnings such as the Muisca Tribes. This stone does not only have a wealth of power within it’s hands, it has stood the test of time too… it is over 5 million years old! As well as this, it has also been approved by some of the biggest tribes in the world! The Colombianite is not a tektite to be overlooked.
